Why we love working at A Table for Six

Hi Tracey,
I just wanted to thankyou for the great dinners and company I have met through a Table for Six. I joined about 18 months ago and have never been to a dinner where I was disappointed with either the food or the company. I enjoyed meeting new people and have enjoyed great conversation with them.
In March I met Chris at a dinner at Coolum. Read the rest of the story here...

Hi Bonny,
Here’s our Story plus a photo from our wedding day 20th Sept 2011, hope you like it.
Before I (David) joined AT46 in late 2008, I was going through all those emotional issues that divorce can bring about but I did want to find my soul mate. I attended several dinners and functions, where I met some greatpeople and enjoyed each occasion, but in April 2009 decided to give it a rest. Read the rest of the story here

The moment I walked into the venue my eye’s shifted to a Princess on the dance floor
Reluctantly and with cynicism pulsating through every cell of my body, I attended my second Table For Six Cocktail Party November 27 at Crown Plaza Surfers Paradise, I dressed a little out there and adopted positive thoughts and repeated over and over to myself K just go with an open mind, communicate and see what transpires.

Hi Bonnie
Yes, I certainly have a success story to share with you!!!!! As you know, I signed up for the lifetime membership in about March 2009. I thought Table For Six would be a great opportunity to meet like-minded people of a similar age. I was not necessarily looking for the love of my life, rather some good adult company & conversation. I booked up months of dinners in advance, as well as several of the monthly 'open' functions.
My very first function was the Easter Cocktail party in April 2009, where I met a wide variety of people & professions.
It had previously been suggested that in looking for a partner, a Tradie might not be the best match for me. Well, guess what?? I met a Brickie (11¬Ω years younger than me) at that Cocktail Party and we spent several hours, after it ended, just talking & laughing. He said he had a profile on one of the online dating sites, so looked him up as soon as I got home. He could see that I had viewed his profile and sent me an email with the introduction "I don't know why I am doing this...". We had our first date 2 days later and the rest, as they say, is history; we have been together ever since.
We just 'clicked' from our first meeting. We always respect each other & don't take anything for granted. We have good times together & make sure we laugh a lot. The world's on its axis & everything is in order. Life is good. Regards & Merry Christmas from Christine & Chris. PS: I only ever attended one dinner, a week after the Cocktail party.

Yvonne and Colin met at a cocktail party in November 2009, and immediately exchanged details via Table For Six.
Due to holidays and Christmas commitments, we did not actually go on a first date till the following January, but kept in touch in the meantime by phone and email. Our first date was coffee, an evening city walk, and a drink before Colin dashed off to work. We continued to see each other regularly, and the attraction grew stronger over the next few months. Dinners, movies, a comedy show, live bands, and family-oriented activities all brought us closer till the flame ignited for us both in April 2010, and we fell in love. Since then, we have continued to enjoy the company of each other, our pets, and our respective families and friends, and are working through our plans for our future together.

We met at the Table For Six Australia Day cocktail party at the Ship Inn, January 23rd, which I wasn't going to attend, but due to Bonnie inviting me personally I decided I should make the effort.
Afterwards, Glenn e-mailed saying he'd like to catch up again. I had my doubts because he was a very busy man. However, I decided I should go on one date at least. We had a really good evening, and continued to date, with Glenn proposing whilst on holiday in Fiji 7 months later and we got married on January 6th 2011. Yayy!!!
Best Regards,
Glenn and Tania.

Michelle and Jason have basically been inseparable since they met at their first dinner (both of their first dinners) on 1stJune 2009.
They both said that they were unsure about attending. Jason asked Michelle to marry him just before Xmas in 2010...They have travelled loads, bought a house together and just had a ball together. They got married on Saturday 26thMarch 2011 in the gardens of Kellybrook winery, it was a beautiful wedding filled with lots of laughter. They will be honeymooning in China over Easter.

Our story
with a bottle of red,
then a bottle of white,
a table of six at rapide,
did dine one night

for karen and todd,
some sparks did fly,
which led to a south bank restaurant,
and a spinning ride in the sky

during the next 18 months,
a love did bloom,
and after a trip to fiji, a wedding now looms

so thank you to bonnie,
and a table of six,
for karen and todd,
they both found their pick

Karen and Todd.

Hello Margaret,
I had such a nice time on Saturday night with C, R, T and J. What lovely people. Since it was my first time, I'm really glad I had the courage to go. It makes any subsequent times a lot easier.
Thank you, G
