Hi Suzanne, Last night’s dinner -> great food – nice restaurant - good company – very enjoyable night. R Hi Joanne, Despite the butterflies doing cartwheels in tummy - which are to be expected - I had a lovely time at dinner. You were right - the group at the table were a great bunch of people, who I would be most happy to spend time with again. As the restaurant was full, I assumed that the food would be good - and it was, and with very large serves and at reasonable prices. Overall, I think the best part about the night was that I got a chance to meet 5 other nice and decent people and have a stimulating and enjoyable conversation where I didn't have to dumb myself down to fit in with the crowd. Obviously, I am a happy client who is very glad I met you, got out of my own way, signed up and took the first step and I guess that's what the program is all about! Hi Suzanne It was a good evening, not nearly as scary as I expected. It was helpful that we were all new to the experience so it made everyone feel more comfortable. The restaurant was nice; the food was great and the ambiance lovely. I found the conversation flowed pretty well. In hindsight we should have moved around to allow everyone to be brought into the conversation more and to mix it up a little. I went into the dinner very open minded with the aim to have a good night out, hopefully a nice meal and meet some nice, interesting people and hopefully make some new friends. I didn't go in with the expectation that I would meet a guy and I think that helped take the pressure off. Out of the group I thought K was nice and in a similar position to me and thought maybe it would be good to catch up for a coffee one day if she was interested. Anyhow, thanks again. I've never seen such a spread of food and the service was faultless. I definitely wasn't looking for any lunch the next day. The newsletter with the whole month's events is also a great idea. I was the first to arrive so that was good; I had a drink before everyone came. A strawberry Daiquiri no less !!!!!!!!!!! I would go to the restaurant again but not on a grand prix weekend, bit noisy. Food was beautiful, service excellent. Company terrific. The restaurant had a lovely ambient and we were seated outside in the path of a lovely fresh breeze. The food was delicious so the prices were justified. Every person there was interesting, all in such a different way, making the evening most enjoyable. Everyone there had travelled so as you can imagine the conversation thrived making us one of the few tables of what was a very crowded restaurant, last to be vacated. All of ladies looked lovely and the men looked relaxed and comfortable. Just very noisy, hard to have a conversation as just polished floor boards. The prices were okay also. I really enjoyed meeting E & J- both were very easy to talk to. The two guys were friendly also, just not compatible to me. But the other four really all got on well. J Hiya Jan, I had a great time at the Boatshed….you probably heard that we stayed till well in the afternoon (about 5pm I think we all left)…so it was very nice to relax…a great location!! I must say I really enjoyed meeting M and catching up with A again…they are great girls…sounds like we all may stay in touch, and I have been in touch with A a few times before going back to Sea last time! T Hi Bonnie. I'm glad I persevered. Had a blast. B is a fabulous girl and we are going to stay in touch. The Chill Bar was great! Never been there before - but I will be keeping an eye out on future events there. Food was divine and the Martini's fabulous! I'm going to check out what the Sunday afternoon vibe is ... although I will say that the band was a litle loud for general conversation. All in all a good night.
