The vision for Vaporetto was inspired by many trips to this beautiful part of the world and wanting to create something that embodies old school hospitality filled with warmth, generosity and charm. We were particularly drawn to Venice for the art, culture, romance, mystery, and the rich, fascinating history associated with controlling the spice trail for centuries. Venetian food is like Italian food without rules! And let’s face it, who doesn’t love Venice?

We use the timeless wisdom of wood fire cooking to celebrate local and seasonal ingredients that pair well with wine – a diverse list where our focus is not so much about a certain ethos as such, we prefer lasting style to take precedence.
