Parkdale, Melbourne

Event Description
A hidden gem! Parkdale probably isn’t the first place that springs to mind when you think of high-end Italian food. But with their smart-casual restaurant and bar, Buono, co-owners Fabio Magliano, Cinzia Buono and head chef Daniele Ruffolo clearly have other ideas about the quiet seaside suburb. The trio has nailed the seaside brief by filling the space with marine hues. Think teal banquette seating, white painted brick walls, and aqua bar tiling laid to invoke the Mediterranean Sea.

Osteria Renata
Prahran, Melbourne
65+YRSA neighbourhood diner inspired by Italy. Hosting friends, family and colleagues at the dinner table. This handsome restaurant and bar shares some of the same European charm that diners have come to love at their other venue (in Park St, Sth Melb). But one of the major differences is that the kitchen is significantly larger. So big, in fact, that there’s a dedicated “pasta lab”, serving as a pasta production HQ for both venues. The restaurant is named after the co-owner Alex Ghaddab’s grandmother, Renata, whose legacy of warm, friendly-faced hospitality is what the team aspires to offer.
