The Courthouse Hotel
North Melbourne, Melbourne
40-50YRSNorth Melbourne's Courthouse Hotel menu channels some of it's past Euro polish, with head chef Sturrock weaving in British gastropub traditions he and his partners picked up while working in the UK's pubs previously. There’s plenty to love about what’s on offer: the care applied to the design of the space, a genuine service experience with bar staff who know their beers, and a sense of culinary ambition unrivalled by many other locals.

Railway Club Hotel
Port Melbourne, Melbourne
50-60YRSThe Railway Club Hotel has remained one of the busiest dining rooms in Melbourne for over 40 years. Its atmosphere and ambiance has stood the test of time. No pretence, just true Port Melbourne style. Set within one of a former historic hotel, The Railway Club Hotel is a little piece of Victorian history. With a total revamp inside, there's a public bar at the entrance, and private dining rooms upstairs. As would be expected from a quality steakhouse, there are linen draped tables and plenty of polished wooden finishes throughout the restaurant.
