Event Description

Join your table at the newest Italian restaurant to open by the sea in St Kilda. "A swish 100-seat restaurant in the Saint Moritz apartment complex. While the sought-after Neapolitan pizzas, home-style lasagne and classic tiramisu remain, there’s a greater focus on dishes that reflect the progression of Italy’s dining scene, including the use of global flavours. See the Spring Creek barramundi crudo, and bucatini alle vongole featuring nori butter and white miso alongside Goolwa pipis." - The Age

Vaporetto Bar and Eatery

Hawthorn, Melbourne

The vision for Vaporetto was inspired by many trips to Venice - a beautiful Italian part of the world and wanting to create something that embodies old school hospitality filled with warmth, generosity and charm. We were particularly drawn to Venice for the art, culture, romance, mystery, and the rich, fascinating history associated with controlling the spice trail for centuries. Venetian food is like Italian food without rules! And let’s face it, who doesn’t love Venice?

A place for a pint on footy night, a dinner to celebrate the small wins, a leisurely Sunday afternoon with bottle of bubbles and bar snacks enjoyed outside in the thick of it. Our restaurant upstairs on the first floor, Happy Valley, brings modern Chinese flavour to the table. The signature Peking ducks hanging in the window are an ode to the centuries of tradition behind every bite. Enjoy fabulous Chinese food with friends.
