Il Baretto
Paddington, Sydney

Event Description
The rustic, unpretentious Italian diner Il Baretto has moved into the Paddo Inn’s slick dining room. The menu, which you’ll still find handwritten on a roll of butcher’s paper hanging on the wall, is familiar, but has had some tweaks, too. A few of Il Baretto’s signature dishes – such as slow-cooked ragu pappardelle – still feature, alongside an expanded selection of antipasti, pasta and gnocchi. Paddo Inn patrons can also order from a bar menu of chicken cotoletta, lasagne and calamari fritte.

Fratelli Paradiso
Potts Point, Sydney
65+YRS"In 1991, three Italian boys headed north of the border to bring a little slice of Melbourne dining to Sydney. Fratelli Paradiso opened its doors in 2001 in Potts Point’s leafy Paris quarter and has since become an inner-city institution. Ask any Potts Point local and they’ll tell you the same thing: you come here for the vibrant ambiance and service as much for the well-dressed Italian fare." - Broadsheet.
