Event Description

Matteo is your vibrant neighbourhood trattoria, located in the heart of Double Bay. "The spiritual successor to its former tenant, Limoncello. The southern Italian vibe here has been nailed, which is no surprise given the hospitality guns running the show. But it’s all about the pizza – perfectly light, elastic dough." - Broadsheet.

Kiln is rooted in contemporary Australian cuisine and something we’re calling Italian-ish, with nods to Japan and Southeast Asia peppered throughout the menu. Focused on high-quality regional produce and the best seafood Australia has to offer, Chef Mitch showcases his innovative-yet-unpretentious approach to cooking, taking dishes in novel directions and gleefully destroying the high-low dining dichotomy.

Il Baretto

Paddington, Sydney

60+YRS

The rustic, unpretentious Italian diner Il Baretto has moved into the Paddo Inn’s slick dining room. The menu, which you’ll still find handwritten on a roll of butcher’s paper hanging on the wall, is familiar, but has had some tweaks, too. A few of Il Baretto’s signature dishes – such as slow-cooked ragu pappardelle – still feature, alongside an expanded selection of antipasti, pasta and gnocchi. Paddo Inn patrons can also order from a bar menu of chicken cotoletta, lasagne and calamari fritte.
