Event Description

When Sonia and Emmanuel successful French restaurateurs came to Australia with their family to enjoy the beauty and lifestyle, they decided to take over Hemingway’s in winter 2014. Without changing the identity of the restaurant, but subtly moving towards an exclusive witty home-made French menu, they mesh the coffee and cocktail-bar culture into the classic Montmartre bistro-style to get the best of both worlds at your table.

Ursula's Paddington

Paddington, Sydney

50-60YRS

This bistro from former Rockpool chef Phil Wood pays homage to modern Australian cuisine and the storied past of its beautiful Paddington home. "While Ursula’s is inspired by the neighbourhood bistros of Europe, it’s also extremely elegant. The room is wrapped in colour; bold caramel tones and deep blues saturate the walls and floors.Wood’s menu – gloriously illustrated in the Bemelmans-style – is full of produce-driven dishes that combine Australian flavours with classic European techniques." - Broadsheet.com.au
