Named after the Empire Flying Boats of 1938, our Rose Bay waterfront destination and bar is home to not only our delicious seafood and cocktails, but is the departure lounge for Sydney Seaplanes. Watch them take to the skies while basking in the surrounding views. Enjoy our take on modern Australian cuisine using the freshest seasonal produce and an emphasis on locally sourced seafood.

The menu, which you’ll still find handwritten on a roll of butcher’s paper hanging on the wall, is familiar, but has had some tweaks, too. A few of Il Baretto’s signature dishes – such as slow-cooked ragu pappardelle – still feature, alongside an expanded selection of antipasti, pasta and gnocchi.
